At ElDorado National-California (ENC), quality is not a promise – it’s a practice embedded in every step of our manufacturing process. For more than 50 years, we have built heavy-duty transit buses that meet the highest standards of safety, durability, and performance.

From chassis welds to final inspection, every ENC bus is assembled, tested, and delivered with one objective in mind: to perform reliably in the real world, day in and day out.

Built for Long-Term Reliability

ENC’s Axess platform is built on an industry-leading 304-grade stainless steel body structure, providing best-in-class corrosion resistance and structural integrity. This design foundation ensures our buses meet the demands of daily transit service, regardless of climate or operating conditions.

Every vehicle is manufactured end-to-end at our Riverside, California facility by a skilled workforce committed to precision, consistency, and compliance. From clean diesel and CNG to hybrid and battery-electric configurations, our propulsion systems are integrated with the same attention to detail that defines the ENC standard.

Altoona Tested, Field Proven

ENC buses are fully Altoona tested, in accordance with Federal Transit Administration (FTA) requirements, ensuring compliance with durability, structural integrity, fuel economy, safety, and maintainability benchmarks. This testing underscores our dedication to delivering a product that performs – and continues to perform – over the full lifecycle of a transit fleet.

Uncompromising Process Integrity

While ENC paused production briefly in late 2024 during an ownership transition, our commitment to manufacturing integrity and quality assurance never wavered. Throughout that period, we retained key engineering and production teams, preserved our core manufacturing systems, and conducted internal reviews to further strengthen process control and final vehicle inspection.

As production resumes in 2025 under new ownership by Rivaz Inc., we are operating with renewed focus, enhanced planning discipline, and a strong foundation of best practices.

Continuous Improvement and Compliance

Quality at ENC is also about continuous improvement. We regularly evaluate and refine our processes, working across departments and with our supplier partners to identify enhancements in material selection, assembly methods, and final validation.

All buses meet Buy America and applicable federal compliance standards, and we maintain robust documentation and traceability throughout the build process.
