ENC Ready to Support Transit Agencies in Fleet Modernization and Emission Reduction Goals Through FTA’s Low-No and Buses & Bus Facilities Programs
RIVERSIDE, CALIFORNIA, USA – May 21, 2025 – ElDorado National California Inc. (“ENC®”), a U.S.-based transit bus manufacturer and subsidiary of Rivaz Inc., today announced its readiness to support public transit agencies pursuing newly released funding through the Federal Transit Administration’s (“FTA”) FY2025 Low or No Emission Vehicle Program (“Low-No”) and Grants for Buses and Bus Facilities Competitive Program.
The FTA announced a combined $1.5 billion in grant funding on May 14, 2025, available to help agencies replace aging vehicles, improve fleet reliability, and modernize transit infrastructure. This historic investment – available through the Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act or “IIJA” (also referred to as the Bipartisan Infrastructure Law or “BIL”) – is intended to improve service delivery, support long-term capital planning, and ensure resilient, cost-effective operations across the country. More information is available in the official Notice of Funding Opportunity.

The company’s flagship AXESS® platform is Buy America compliant, Altoona tested, and built for flexible deployment in urban, regional, and rural environments.
“At ENC, we know what’s at stake for agencies navigating competitive grants, procurement timelines, and service demands,” said Dan Trujillo, Vice President of Sales at ENC. “We’re not just prepared to deliver buses quickly – we’re committed to being a long-term, responsive partner as agencies transition their fleets and plan for the future.”
