ENC Appoints DJ Hammingh as Regional Sales Manager

Veteran transit sales leader with more than 25 years of experience deepens ENC’s commercial bench and its commitment to customer and aftermarket support

RIVERSIDE, CALIFORNIA, USA – June 11, 2026 – ENC® (“ENC” or the “Company”), a U.S.-based transit bus manufacturer and subsidiary of Rivaz Inc., today announced the appointment of DJ Hammingh as Regional Sales Manager, effective immediately. Hammingh reports to John Obert, Vice President of Transit Sales, and will support transit agency and operator accounts across the midwestern region of America.

Hammingh brings more than 25 years of sales and business development experience. As Regional Sales Manager at New Flyer of America from 2016 to 2020, he contributed to significant Midwest sales growth.

He later served as Director of Sales, North America at ETA Transit Systems and as Transit National Account Director at HADLEY, where he supported major commercial agreements with leading transit OEMs. Most recently, he was Director of Business Development at Transit Technical.

“DJ has spent his career close to transit agencies and operators, and understands that a bus is only as good as the support behind it,” said Jason Lee, Chief Executive Officer of ENC. “His appointment reflects the caliber of talent choosing to build their next chapter at ENC, and it strengthens a sales organization with deep roots across this industry. As we scale production, we are just as focused on scaling the service and responsiveness our customers count on.”

Hammingh’s appointment underscores ENC’s ongoing investment in aftermarket service, parts availability, and field support that maximize fleet uptime and total value of ownership for its customers.

“DJ adds proven transit experience to a team that already knows our market from every angle,” said John Obert. “He has built agency relationships and managed the full life cycle of a fleet – not just the sale. That perspective is exactly what our customers expect, and it reinforces our commitment to delivering exceptional aftermarket service and support long after delivery.”

That support extends across ENC’s full product lineup. The Company’s Buy America- and ADA-compliant transit buses are available in 30-, 32-, 33-, 35-, and 40-foot configurations, with clean diesel, compressed natural gas, diesel-electric hybrid, and battery-electric propulsion to support a wide range of agency and operator needs.

“ENC has earned a reputation for building durable, reliable buses and for standing behind them,” said DJ Hammingh. “What drew me here is the depth of experience across this team and a clear commitment to the customer. I look forward to helping agencies and operators get the most from their fleets, supported every mile of the way.”
