Assemblywoman Leticia Castillo Visits ENC, Celebrating American Manufacturing and Economic Growth in Assembly District 58
RIVERSIDE, CALIFORNIA, USA – March 20, 2026 – ENC® (“ENC” or the “Company”), a U.S.-based transit bus manufacturer and subsidiary of Rivaz Inc., today welcomed California Assemblywoman Leticia Castillo (R-AD58) for a tour of the Company’s 227,000-square-foot manufacturing facility in Jurupa Valley. The visit underscored ENC’s role as a major employer in Assembly District 58 and its commitment to American manufacturing and skilled local jobs.
Assemblywoman Castillo, who serves as Vice Chair of the Assembly Committee on Economic Development, Growth, and Household Impact, toured ENC’s production floor alongside Company leadership, observing the end-to-end bus manufacturing process firsthand. ENC currently employs approximately 230 people at its Jurupa Valley facility, with a pathway to approximately 500 jobs at full production capacity.
“ENC has been building transit buses in California for more than 50 years, and we are proud to do it right here in Jurupa Valley,” said Jason Lee, Chief Executive Officer of ENC. “Every bus that leaves this facility represents skilled California workers, American manufacturing, and a direct investment in the communities we serve. We were honored to welcome Assemblywoman Castillo and show her what that looks like in practice.”
Since assuming ownership of ENC in 2024, Rivaz has invested more than $50 million in facility upgrades, workforce development and upskilling, and planned expansions.
“ENC is a California success story – over 50 years of American manufacturing, right here in Jurupa Valley, producing transit buses that communities across the country depend on,” said Assemblywoman Leticia Castillo (R-AD58). “I am proud to represent the workers who build these buses, and I look forward to supporting ENC’s continued growth in Assembly District 58.”
